Life Changing Events

Well it has been a long time since my last post and I thought I should update everyone before I have to go back to work on Monday the 12th.  The biggest life change event occurred on July 3rd when our little Alexzandria was born. She was 7lbs 5oz 20 inches long born @ 3:50am.  She is now 9 weeks and 5 days old.  I can not believe how time is flying by.  I love her more and more each day. 

Since Alexzandria has been born she has had a few visitors.  First while still at the hospital our friends Rob and Shawntal and there three girls came to meet her.  Next was my mom who stayed with us for two weeks.  She was a God send.  Because I had compilations with my c-section and I needed a lot of help.  Then my friend from work Jim stopped by.  Finally Steve's parents stayed with us for five days.  Now if we can just get my dad on a plane so he can meet her that would be great.

Alexzandria's first trip to the zoo.  We had a great weekend of Labor Day.  It was also my birthday weekend.  She did so good that we got an annual zoo pass for the family.  We were there six hours.  It is a little bit of a challenge because I breast feed but she took the bottles just fine it was breast milk so I think that helped. We also went to Greenlake that weekend to walk the dogs she really like that also.

The other life changing event that happened was one of my friends from work committed suicide.  He was found in his house a few weeks ago.  It hit me hard I don't know it it is all the pregnancy hormones still or that I had just seen him a month ago.  It was Jim who I talked about coming over to meet Alexzandria.  I talked to a few people and he was a work that Saturday and then no one heard from him and he did not come to work the following Monday and that is when they found him.  I don't know what to think I miss him and I think it is going to hit me again on Monday when I go back to work and he is not there.

Sorry to start off so happy and end so sad.  But I guess that is how life goes.  I am a better person for knowing Jim and I am glad that he got to meet Alexzandria.  I wish I could have done something but I guess he thought it was his time and that was the only thing he could do.  We will all Miss him.  Till we meet again Miss you Jimagin.

A look back at 2008 and a look into the future of 2009

January 1, 2009

2008 started out real good I got a new job, life was good. We had our first puppy Padme' for 4 months. We had been married for a little over a half af year. It was all looking good. We had our first anniversay, Padme' had her first birthday, then all hell broke lose. I went out on Strike it lasted two months. It started on my birthday and ended on Gino's birthday. The only good part about the strike was I was off to spend time with Kerryn when she came to visit. It was awesome I got to spend almost two weeks with her. And the last part we all went to Vegas. It was soooo cool. We stayed at NY/NY we saw a show we walked all over it was the best, can't wait to go back. Since I was off for so long I went looking for a job. I found one at Target it was going to just be Seasonal, but I did the week of training then did not get many shifts. Then my first 8 hour shift I got so sick that I had to call in. After that I had no shifts and I went to Vegas. When I got back I had pink eye. They called and asked if I was going to come in I could not. Then I had no shifts at all, so that was the end of that a week and a half of work. After all of that we got our new puppy Anakin. Then I went back to work, things started to get better. We signed up Anakin for puppy class and we have been to three classes he is doing well. I took them to a Beagle meetup it was a lot of fun. Steve is back to is normal shift, life is going well.




2009 is going to be a fun year. We our going to have our second anniversay. We are both going to turn the big 3 0 this year. Padme will be 2 and Anakin will turn 1. We are going to try to have a big B-Day bash right between out two birthdays, it will be August 15th 2009. We don't know if we want to have it here or go to Vegas again. We have some time to think about it. Also we are going to try to come home for a visit we will be bringing the puppies. We are also going to start looking for a house. Our lease is up at the end of October. So we will start looking when it gets warmer. We also want to start fostering beagles when we get a home. And then start a family but we want a home first. This year is going to be great. It is off to a good start.

Strike

Almost 6 days into the Strike. Boeing is seeing it as at least a 30 day strike. So I am going to start looking for a job to help till I go back to work. In the last few days I have cleaned the whole apt from top to bottom. I am going stir crazy. I need to go out and get a part time job. This month is not starting off very good hopefully it will get better.

The new year has been great. I know it has only been 10 days but it is great. This past sunday we ordered a new bed, it comes in next saturday. I start my new job at Boeing tomorrow. I found a new dentist well that part has not been great. I need two crowns, I cracked a tooth and that is why I found a new dentist. But everything else has been great. Padme' has gotten so big, but we think that she has stop growing, which is fine. She is about 10 inches tall, between 15-16 pounds, 18-20 inches long. She is finally house broken yea!!!!!!!!!! So for the rest of the year we have lots of plans. Well after we get the new bed a good night sleep I can't wait. We want to go see a hockey game in Canada but we will see how the money is. Because the Red Wings are coming but it is in February and we will have to take Padme' and we don't know where we would stay. Then in May we are going to Disneyland I can't wait. Yes we are taking Padme' we have already look in to it. Then my mom and dad are coming to visit in June. I m also going to try to go home for Amanda's wedding at the begining of June. Then after my parents leave we will be getting another puppy Anakin. Then Steven's parents are coming to visit. We think in August. Then our lease is up in October. So we will have to move in to a house we hope. O yea we are looking for a house all this time also. Because we plan on staying out here till Im done with school. Well that is about all for now I need to get some rest early day tomorrow. Miss you all. Love Ya.

The last month

Well since the last blog I have finished training. Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got offered a job and I start 1/4/08. I can't wait it is going to be so different from anything that I have done before. I will be working at Boeing on the assembly line. It is going to be so much fun.




Also Gino and Robyn have been here this week. We have had so much fun. We walked around Seattle, went to the Aquarium, we went Whale watching today. O MY GOD it was awesome. We saw at least 20 Orcas. Pictures to come soon. We did alot and saw alot. We all had tons of fun. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for everyone. I was cooking all day it started with breakfast, then everyone left me and I bake desert, and then i started dinner. We had turkey, real mashed potatoes, cheesey potatoes, olvies, pickles, rolls, brocolie, green beans, and salde. They both will be missed. Can't wait for them to come back to visit again.



Padme' our baby. She is growing like a weed. She is 10 lbs now. And 18 weeks old today. Three more weeks of puppy classes. She is doing so well. She is also going to miss Gino and Robyn. She has fallen in love with them both. And they love her. Padme' has lost her first puppy teeth and started to get her adult teeth, it is the four front ones, two on top and two on bottom. We got her some new clothes. She is so cute in them. Pictures to come soon.
